What’s Happening?

ESL Services in Peterborough - The PPCII is hoping to supervise a project in the 2011/2012 year that will survey ESL services in the area. In this project, the student will conduct research to perform an audit of Peterborough’s ESL Services. Research questions include; what types of ESL programs are offered in the Peterborough area? Do these services require tuition fees? Who can participate in these services (qualifications/immigrant status)? How often are they offered?

Fleming Research on ESL Services - In 2011, Fleming College Conducted research on the ESL needs of employers. This research has been given to the PPCII in data form, and will be analyzed by staff in the coming months.
